Jane has had a long road before discovering the Steadi-Two.  The first time Jane noticed her tremor when she was 11 years old. At the time, her tremor didn’t hamper her ability to feed herself, write, or performing other everyday activities. However, as she entered her late teenage years, her tremor became more pronounced.  After Jane sought the advice of doctors and specialists, Jane was put on Valium — a medication that is commonly used to treat a range of conditions, including anxiety.

Eventually, when Jane was in her late 20s, she was diagnosed with Essential tremor.  Essential tremor is a progressive nervous system disorder that causes uncontrollable shakes.  The shakes vary from person to person – but it can include tremor to the head, hands, arms, legs, trunk, and sometimes even people’s voice.
